Bottle—1st version, with “IPA” on the left side of the label. An orange-amber ale that pours with a small head that dissipates. Moderately hoppy aroma is piney and citrusy, with some caramel and fruit in the background. Light-to-medium body with a creamy mouthfeel aided by a very soft carbonation. A touch of caramel sweetness is noticeable up front before the hops reveal themselves around the middle. Piney and limey finish leaves a mild aftertaste. 7/4/7/3/11/3.2. Bottle—2nd version, with “IPA” on the right side of the label. Pretty much identical in appearance. Slightly fuller aroma has a more developed hop character packing a bit more punch. Light-to-medium body with a higher level of carbonation, but still fairly soft. Some caramel up front, again, but this time the hops step forward earlier. The hopping of this version seems moderately higher, with a piney, citrusy, lightly resiny finish that lingers more fully on the palate to leave a piney, grapefruity aftertaste. I give a slight edge to the 2nd version, although even that strikes me as somewhat plain.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 beerbiere (101) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 15, 2008
Orange-copper, small head, quickly falling. Nose of grapefruit, earthy hops hints of caramel, not very complex. Flavor is very bitter, lacks some balance of the malts. This is their most recent release (decembre 2007), but it feels as if it is a little oxydized. Mouthfeel is a litlle oily, the finish lacks precision. Long aftertaste, not very pleasant. Decent.

Hops tastes, very long in mouth. Very rich in hops and malt. Tasted like if the beer was brewed just a few days before: fresh!
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Jiffypark (31) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 9, 2004
Poured a cice off-white, tight head but faded fast. Very clear amber red. Nose was pretty bold but the kicker was to taste it: bitter, heavy and hoppy.

Nice strong smell of hops, nice light color like iced tea :) bitterness is present like burnt caramel. Good to drink in a hot summer day
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 3Vandoo (16) - Quebec, CANADA - FEB 1, 2006
A nice amber beer in color with a great foamy head that is creamy. Some reddish light hues travel that beer. A nice malty, caramel smells are present with a decent hoppist flavours that are also noticable.
Some caramel flavours are present, with malt, but a decent hop presence is there too that makes herself shown. Some citrus flavours, a shy floral presense is also there. The presence of alcohol is quite decent too, I can feel it. A nice mouthfeel and very drinkable beer!
nice IPA les gars!

Nice try. I've tasted better homebrewed IPA's. This beer is nothing but empty bitterness. Nose : no hops. Mouth : no hops. Let's give it another shot.
