Deep dark brown in colour with slight hints of red. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and alcohol. It has a complex flavor profile: strong malt, brown sugar, caramel, chocolate, and dark fruit. Good amount of carbonation. Well done!

Bottle. Shared with Tupalev and Blankboy. Dark brown body, small beige head. Alcoholic aroma is quite prominent over malt, caramel and brown sugar, mild fruit. Flavour starts out more alocholic still, with boozey alcohol pushing malt and sugar out of the way. Not sure what happened, but the second half of the glass was vastly superior. Perhaps my palate no longer caught unawares was more acclimatised to teh abv and went searchign for more. Palate is thinner than it could be but average. Deserves a large sample to let it develop.

Burgundy-amber colour. Strong alcohol aroma. Flavour is also quite hot, slight smokey with toffeeish, caramelly malts.

Radekfest, thanks to whomever brought this one, it was a real pleasant surprise. Murky brown with tan head, it has a sweet, chocolatey malt flavour that I really loved and minimal bitterness...medium body and goes down easy, I wonder how obtainable these are in Montreal.

Deep mahogany color, with a creamy head. The nose is quite malty with burnt caramel, fruitcake and dry raisins aromas. Medium-bodied palate, rich maltiness, fruity, malty-sweet, in an alcoolic warmth. Finishes with a good malty note and a modest bittering hops.

Dark brown in color, tan head. Very sweet aroma, full, with notes of brown sugar, molasses, and some scotch. Flavor is pretty sweet with a big alcohol surge coming in. Full bodied, big burn. This beer has massive potential. It also has massive alcohol. Give it a couple years in the cellar to mellow.

Sweet, malt nose, cloudy brown, with a small tan head. Flavour of strong malt, with a pinch of humbug candy. Medium bodied, balanced nicely, with a sweet mellow followthrough, given the alcohol content. Quite good. Thanks radiomgb
