COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Un genre d’hybride bière/tawny/cognac... Des fruits, cerises, dattes, caramel et tout le pataclan sur une finale toute chaude d’alcool. Une gaterie à partager avec l’être cher.

For me the brewer, it’s not made to be an American Strong Ale or something else. It’s made to be a kind of barley based port-style with very little carbonation, just enought to protect it against oxydation.

341 ml bottle via trade with luiss - Pours a dark amber color with a thin off white head that faded quickly. Very little carbonation. Aroma of apple and pear. Flavor is fruit and toffee. Palate is slightly dry. Medium to full body. Alcohol isn’t over bearing. Good beer. Thanks Luis.

341mL bottle from HogTownHarry, no date. Pours a hazy orange brown with a tiny beige head. Aromas of port and tobacco up front, sour cherries, light smoke, molasses and prunes. Flavor is again dominant with port characteristics, a tobacco boozy quality. Other flavors follow much the same as the aroma. Bone dry alcoholic finish with a bit of roasted malt chalkiness. This is a very nice beer overall, though the alcohol does distract a little more than I would have liked in the taste. Medium to full bodied, though leaning a little more towards medium due to the high ABV, , moderate carbonation. Reminds me somewhat of HOTD Adam, but not quite as good.

TITW-II. Brown body with no head. The aroma is vinous, cherry, pear and toffee. The flavor is cherry, caramel, toffee and fairly sweet. Medium body with slightly prickly carbonation.

(Bottle 34,1 cl) Courtesy of Siroy. Pours a pretty, clear, dark orangey brown with a small, off-white head. Vinous aroma with notes of dried fruit. Full-bodied, sweetish body with loads of vinous accents and some raisins. Not much bitterness. Very interesting. 211006

TITW Part Deux - 12oz bottle, courtesy of HogTownHarry. Thanks, Harry!! Clear brownish amber color; slightest head. Significant boozy, maple syrup and candy sugar in the aroma. Full, viscous mouthfeel: slightly oxidized, maple syrup and cotton candy, citrus hops and flowers; lots of things going on here. Long, sugary finish: syrupy and cotton candy.

Bottle... TITW Part Deux... Clear, dark orange ale with a small, creamy, white head. Only slightly oxidized. Malty, fruity nose with vinous notes of sherry, red wine and ethanol. Toffee esters as well. No semblance of balance in the malty, fruity flavor. Sweet and boozy. Full-bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes sweet and warming. Thanks to kmweaver for his generosity!

341ml bottle thanks to MartinT. Poured into a tulip glass. Pours a brownish black with s small head that quickly dissapates into small lacing. Aroma is strong with raison, sherry-ish cherry, some metal one may even say. But mainly I would say its a pruney alcohol. Taste is a bit metallic, with that alcohol pruneness present. A rather thin body, creating a watery mouthfeel. Low bitterness and a slightly less than moderate carbonation. A rather simplistic beer actually with not much going for it except its strong, canadian, and hard to come by. But sometimes thats all it takes.
