Found this in Phnom Penh, go figure. Dark brown colour. Sweet, malta-like aroma with light chocolate. Watery, but heavy with sugars like a malta mixed with coffee grounds. Not especially enjoyable, since it fails both as a beer and as a malta-like soft drink in equal measure.

Bottle @ Brauhaus, Phnom Penh. Dark opaque deep brown with brown head. Husky watery dark grain aromas like bran, health bread dough. SWEET. Tastes like over-sweetened coffee, is soft-drink like. It’s ok if you are in the mood for this sort of thing.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 JorisPPattyn (6428) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - DEC 30, 2008
Pours syrupy, near black beer with some orange highlights, under a light greige medium head. Nutty, bready & molasses aromas; heavy, but certainly not alcoholwise. More of the same flavourwise, plus clearly artificial sweetener, and a light sourish lining that doesn’t spoil anything. In itself not bad. Sticky, syrupy-oily MF, thick worts-like. Not really bad. Still, it’s definitely more aimed at children, than at beergeeks.
