COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Five different dark grains, molasses and freshly roasted African coffee beans went into this rich and decadent sweet-stout. This beer is unfiltered and matured in the bottle and will continue to improve for the next 2-3 years. After fermentation a portion of the beer was matured on medium-toast french oak providing subtle hints of vanilla and coconut.
Pour carefully to avoid disturbing the sediment.

Pours black with a tan head. Nose shows heavy roasted malt, cocoa, big coffee notes, woody characters and booze. A bit aggressively roasted. Similar flavours. Very heavy roast with some coffee in the background and some smokey notes. Nice creamy carbonation.

2012: 3.5 cm sediment in this 33 oz bottle unacceptable. Otherwise, a delicious well roasted coffee stout (could use more coffee flavor) wonderfully delicious creamy oily mouthfeel. A lot of residual sweetness and light mocha palate.

Tämä lienee ensimmäinen koskaan juomani olut Afrikan mantereelta. Väriltään olut on pikimustaa ja muodostaa mukavan, vaalean ruskean vaahdon. Tuoksussa on kahvia, vaniljaa, melassia ja paahtunutta mallasta. Maultaan olut on hieman makea, nautinnollisen kahvinen, vaniljainen ja hieman paahtunut. Paksu ja öljyinen suutuntuma. Melko herkullinen olut, vaikke ihan tyylilajin kärkikastiin kuulukaan,

Bottle. Black with small beige head. Fat oily body. Roasted cereals with pronounced coffee aromas. Round sweet dry palate. Strong coffee brew prefer more bitterness to sweetness like Beer Geek Brunch.

Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, plenty of coffee, caramel and wood. Taste is medium to high sweet leading to a moderate bitter and roasty finish. Very good.
