COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Five different dark grains, molasses and freshly roasted African coffee beans went into this rich and decadent sweet-stout. This beer is unfiltered and matured in the bottle and will continue to improve for the next 2-3 years. After fermentation a portion of the beer was matured on medium-toast french oak providing subtle hints of vanilla and coconut.
Pour carefully to avoid disturbing the sediment.

Saboreada el 19/04/11 en una copa Oversized. Negro puro y cuerpo opaco. Enjoyed on 04/19/11 in an Oversized glass. Pure black opaque body. Beige foam with small bubbles. Thick layer & lasting crown, lacing rings too. Toasted malts, chocolate, fresh coffee grains & hop aromas. Dry nut & chocolate note tasting. Sweet bitterness & coffee palate.Coffee flavor last on the aftertaste. Full body for a not extremely high ABV beer. A little fat & excessive coffee hints but could be ok in cold weather.

340ml bottle. Pours an opaque black, with a medium beige head, which lasts well and leaves good lacing. Sweet milk chocolate and whipped cream notes mix with mild coffee in the aroma. Mild herbal hops up front sit over a base of creamy milk chocolate. The chocolate persists into the mid-palate, with the hops being replaced by mild, bittersweet coffee. Irish coffee notes come through in the finish. The flavours in this stout are fairly simplistic, yet pleasant enough, making for a quite enjoyable sweet stout.

Rating #625, bottle from Fish N’ Beer

Brown-black beer with completely dense, small, beige head. Aroma of blackcurrant, wood, liquorice, lots of chocolate, spices and candy drops. Flavor has a bit touch of metallicness but that is immediately erased by chocolate, liquorice, berries as raspberries and blackcurrant and then some wood. Soft and creamy palate. Really enjoyable stout, and despite the fruityness is quite unorthodox is really suits this beer perfectly!
