COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle as "Bies Fyrkat Dunkel". Pours clear dark chestnut with a diminishing beige frothy medium head. Aroma bread, toasted malt, nuts, cooked vegetables, burnt notes, butter. Taste is light+ sweet, light bitter and very light sour. Body is light, texture is slick, carbonation is moderate. Finishes sweet and bready, leaving a mouth covering film.

Botella, comes as "Bies Fyrkat Dunkel". Quite hazy amber colour, small off-white head. Sweet yeasty caramel malty aroma. Ok mouthfeel. Sweet caramel yeasty malty flavour, light chocolate touch. Yeasty sweet caramel malty finish. Nostalgic to see the beer and original label in new version. I have the original version from the 1960s in my (unopened) bottle collection back in the Faroes.

Dark amber to mahogany color; small head. The aroma is very light: ashes, roasted malt, dirty water; later it becomes somehow breadish and nutty, that’s better. Lean mouthfeel, with simple, dry caramel flavor. Correct bitterness, a bit dusty in the end. Easy.
