curly (2352) - Seattle (Newcastle), Washington, USA - APR 4, 2012

Almost black, brown edges, foamy brown head. Aroma of roast malt, coffee, caramel, almond, hazelnut. Taste is sweet with a light bitterness. I wish the body was a bit fuller, but a really nice beer overall.

Black color/ lasting tan head. Dry black malt, dark coffee, dry chocolate aromas. Smooth medium body. Dry chocolate, saline, pale malt, dark roast malt flavors--good.
