3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nose if somewhat roast and brown bready with fruity yeast notes, spice, and bubblegum. Pours murky brown with not much of a head. The flavor is also fruity and spicy with a good dose of bubble gum, chocolate and light toast/roast notes. Soft sweetness/spicy yeast notes round out the finish. Medium to lively carbonation, lighter than expected body.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
draft at brouwers. pours an opaque dark brown with a dense and creamy tan head. dark fruits, brown bread, and a bit of aluminum on the nose. creamy medium body with tight and lively carb. brown bread, molasses, bubblegum, dark fruit, and aluminum on the mid palate. the aluminum dries the finish a bit, slightly marring an otherwise excellent beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
2/11/10 On draft at the taproom. Aroma is very sharp and peppery with a yeast domanace over a very light touch of chocolate. Appearace is hazy light brown with a perfect off-white head and great lacing. Flavor is less sharp, with true nutty and a touch more chocolately note coming from an all-malt flavor profile. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a medium-high spritzy carb texture. Overall, this has almost the nose of a Belgian paired with the flavor of an English Brown.
