COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Herbert’s is brewed every year for Cask Festival by different Washington brewers to honor Bert Grant. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Cask Fest and to celebrate there will be 10 versions of this over the top, hoppy pale ale. Big Al partnered with Chris Miller from Snipes and Art Dixon from Baron to create this exciting beer. It will be served at the Cask Fest on March 28th. Bert Grant was all about the hops and this version is too. We put hops in the mash, dropped a bunch in the kettle late, and dryhopped it. Smooth bitterness, big fruity hop flavor and aroma all backed by tasty malt flavors. We used Summit, Cascade, Simcoe, Citra, and some secret ones too.
