Pours a hazy orange with a medium off-white head. Floral/peppery aroma. Malt and citrus dominate the flavor, with a little bit of pine, and moderate bitterness. A solid northwest-style IPA.

(Draft) Sampled at GCBF 2009 in Victoria on September 10, 2009. Melon with cascade hops. Pretty good as a cleanser for the Cream Ale disaster. 7/3/7/3/14
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 riversideAK (4559) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JUL 26, 2009
UPDATED: JUL 18, 2010 Fruity aroma, medium citrus, and floral hops, lightly sweet pale malts as well as some light crystal notes. A little tropical smelling to me. Pours golden, lightly hazy with a nice head, solid retention etc. Medium hop bitterness up front folowed by pale malt sweetness, light caramel, fruity citrus and floral hops round out the finish. Well balanced and very drinkable.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Bradrcr (808) - Renton, Washington, USA - JUL 21, 2009
7/21/09 on draft at the brewery. Aroma has a true black pepper spiciness and a grassy background. Appearance is light hazy gold with a well maintained white head and a touch of lacing. Flavor is an even blend of green grass, light black pepper and sweet malt. None of the flavors dominate each other, and harshness is absent. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a medium carb texture and tingling finish. Overall, a super-sessionable IPA that strives for flavor over palate punishment.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 after4ever (4500) - Brier, Washington, USA - JUL 18, 2009
Draft at Naked City. Very solid IPA. Pours a hazy medium amber with a loose tan film for a head. Mild nose, probably too much on the subdued side for me. A little bit of citrus there and that’s about it. Creamy medium body with plenty of assertive carb, hits just right--leaves some woolly air bubbles in the mouth. Lovely big citrus notes abound on the mid palate, nice peach and apricot touches with the dryish caramel notes underneath. Long resiny finish. Very dry and refreshing. If this beer had a head and a nose it would be something serious to contend with.
