UPDATED: MAR 23, 2015 Serving: from tap at Via Marina. Aroma: light malt. Appearance: average-sized, creamy, light-brown, initial head with fair lacing and mostly diminishing longevity. Clear, dark-red body. Taste: lightly sweet initial flavor and finish with short duration. Palate: light-to-medium body with watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall: pretty good, but not memorable.

On tap at Big Al, pours a hazy dark amber red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malts and not much else. Flavour is along the same lines, where bready malts and a slight herbal quality. Nothing much going on here. Itís okay.

Draft. Deep mahogany pour, small off-white head. Caramel nose, some fruit notes. Sweet malt taste. Decent red.

Deep mohagany color. Thin white head. First sip is malty caramel backed by a nice balance of hop bitterness and dryness. Has the slight adjunct corn flavor u might expect in an Irish red. Not malty sweet by any means, this is a dry irish red. Body is medium though and doesnít feel weak at any point. Nice brew, but Iíll only have it again if ur buying :)

Draft pour. Dark pour for a lighter beer. Very malty yet rich flavor. Very odd aroma which I am having trouble describing. Overall a very drinkable beer but not too memorable.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a mostly clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, caramel and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Draft. Heavy rich malt body, dark red caramel brown. Alcohol and sour-alt malting, a bit of a mess. Reminiscent of the íbig redí beer brewed in Serbia, not a great comparison, funky malts, residual sugars and alc bite.

Draft at Magic City Brewfest. Pours a clear amber with a medium-sized off white head. Aroma and flavor were odd. A bit sour with some other off flavors. Iím hoping this was a bad keg. But it didnít seem so bad as to be a mis-brew. In any case, definitely didnít strike me as a red ale.

Pours cloudy amber with a lacy off-white head. Aroma of grass and spice. Medium light body, light carbonation. Caramel nut taste with a crisp finish. Surprisingly malty.

Somewhat soapy aroma. This is quite smooth. Not too malty or funky. A nice flavorful irish red.
