Draft. Deep ruby red color, off white head. Nice aroma of mixed forest berries on a vinous background. Taste is softly sour dark fruit, nice complexity and character. Very tasty.

Draft at Bigwood, from notes. Dark ruby red pour; red-brown ring of bubbles. Aroma: really nice - oak and sweet acetic (vinegar). Smells delicious. Palate: totally flat. Slick texture, light body. Bummer on the carb, it really takes away from this :(. Feels hollow and watery in my mouth. Taste: follows nose - moderate sweetness with just a slightly tart, vinegar finish. Some sweetened cereal in the finish as well. Overall: Iíd like to try this with some carb - pretty surprised this comes out of big al, though - hope they do more stuff like this.

On tap at Brouwerís Sour Fest 2013. Garnet-ruby pour, with a tiny off-white head. Juicy, grassy peach and raspberry notes on the nose. Really nice! The flavor follows, but itís a bit subdued -- not quite as sour as the nose lets on. Oak comes through, red wine comes through, and those fruit notes remain, but the sour note -- while readily apparent -- is nice and quiet in here. It borders on pucker, but never gets there. This comes across as a really, really refined sour ale -- really nicely done from the local folks!

Nose is vinous fruity and tart with wood grapes lactic sourness. Nice aroma. Pours reddish purple with an off pi k head. Flavors of tart grapes lactic sourness wood nice and fruity vinous. Medium carbonation smooth and tart but quenching and well done. Crisp lingering fruity tartness.

Draft at Paratii Craft Bar. Pours a crystal clear brilliant ruby red with a dense creamy tan head. Lots of webby lace. Bold tart nose hits you with a wallop; sharp bracing acidity from both a shining dark vinegary lacto and a penetratingly vinous red wine berry giddyup. Creamy medium body with lively presence. Attack comes on tart but not puckery, just rich with strawberries, moss, and balsamic. Mid palate kicks over with a pucker that washes out into a nicely refreshing and somewhat gentler finish. This has the complexity and refreshment to take a deserved place on any list of world sours you want to put together. Completely. Fucking. Amazing.
