3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber and cloudy. Bretty, oaky and tart. Thin, with lots of sour and brett. Throat-grabbing. But really, it’s a pretty basic tart beer with limited watermelon character.

Big Al – Watermelon Sour
Big watermelon aroma and flavor. This was like a hard candy that was made into a beer. The sour was subtle you could drink this well with our spicy dinner. Interesting beer to say the least glad I got to try it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Vinegar and watermelon candy on the nose. Hazy orange amber pour with no head. Almost stagnant looking. Watermelon candy flavors up front and throughout on top of a medium sour vinegar base. Interesting to say the least. Softly carbonated, tart and quenching. A little more carbonation would have been preferred however.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Presented at the WABL 4th Anniversary party. Hazy brown, quiet in the glass. Absent head. Sour tart watermelon aroma has a noticeable sweet side as well, like an unartificial jolly rancher. Clean and sways back and forth between sweet and tart. The melon works really well with the sour base.
