Not much of an aroma that I could detect. Pale gold with thin head. Very bitter upon first taste. Some tartness in the background. Not a very drinkable beer whatsoever. I’ve had some good kolsch beers before and this one does not compare.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a tall white head. The aroma picked up dusty lemon rind and grass over bready malts and a hit of detergent. The flavor found slightly sour lemon and wheat throughout, with fairly benign bready malt at the core and some dry, peppery notes around.. finished grainy with lemon rind and residual sugars. Light-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate.. tacky at times, but the middle was smooth.. drinkable and just about refreshing.

Bottle. Clear gold pour with a white head. Grassy nose. Palate is moderate, and on-point with the style. Taste is grain and kind of a sharp grassy bitterness.

Heidel House Brewfest. Golden in color with white head. Lackluster aroma of pale, watery malts and slightly skunked hops. Flavor is slightly better. Light biscuity malt and lemon citrus. Light finish of sweet malt and skunky hops. Decent for the style.

Wavehopper is a light bodied and light colored beer. It reminds me of the type of beer that the Miller Lite crowd may enjoy, with a little more of a lingering bitter flavor.

Draft at OF. Pale yellow-tan. Thin, oily head. Looks filtered. Aroma is quite subdued in the frosty pint glass. Sweet and a little too sugary, doesn’t really strike me as a Kolsch. A mild soapy bitterness for balance. Quite odd, lots of macro nuances. Not so wild about this one, to say the least. Light peppery finish, a touch buttery. Insipid.

12 ounce bottle that pours a very light yellow color. Not much aroma, slight amount of grain in the aroma. Flavor is the same, slight grain flavor, some grass, and a touch of sweet malt.

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a pale yellow/slightly golden with a thin soapy white head, really not a whole lot going on with the aroma, some grain with a hint of sweetness, the flavor is crisp with sublte hops and a grassy finish, not completely terrible but I wouldn’t go out of my way to track this down again.
