Beershine (1526), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 23, 2008 Slight haze. Medium honey gold with thick, cream-colored head. Nice lacing. Super buttery aroma. Hard to get over it. Mouthfeel is soft and smooth. Cookie-like flavors. The butter blends in better than it does in the aroma. Ends balanced with some bread crust and is not as bad as it smells. Oakes (7047), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 7, 2008 Hazy amber with a nice head. Lacing down the glass is beautiful. Earthy, buttery nose and palate. Light bitterness. Some woody notes and an off-dry finish. The diacetyl is less pronounced in the flavour than in the aroma, but still has no business being there. daknole (1294), Plantation, Florida, USA Aug 25, 2008 On tap at BBB. Nice dark golden pour wtih a small head. Aroma is actually very nice. Malty, biscuits, maybe some bread. Flavor is very pronounced. This is not a weak pale ale. Malt flavor is delicious and different. And there is a fair hop balance as well. Pretty good effort.
