Very light bodied English brown. Was a little cloudy, but tasted great. Very malt forward with nutty toast flavors.

Sample at the brewery. Comes reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, nuts, and grain. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, nuts, and a touch of hops. Decent.

Nutty brown in color, with a thinnish khaki head. Nice brown ale aroma of earthy brown malts, light cereal grains, chestnuts, and subtle earthiness. Taste was more bitter than I imagine a brown ale being, but it wasn’t a bad thing...kinda livened up my expectations. Taste of earthy moderately bitter hops, chestnuts, brown malt, light chocolate malts, and some grains. Smooth, sweet, tasty with a subtle hop kick to keep you intrigued. Not bad.

On tap @ brewery. Orange brown appearance with a tan head. Nutty, quite brown, toasty malty nose. Fairly thin bodied, bitter, slightly nutty flavor.

On tap at Big Beaver poured a clear amber with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of nuts, bread and a hint of earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, nuts and light earthiness with a smooth earthy finish.
