Growler. Very inappropriate smokey aroma and flavor mask most of the IPA character. Did he use peated or rauch malt (bad idea)?! Or just not clean the equipment after the last bourbon stout batch (even worse.) If I close my eyes and pretend Iím in Bamburg, itís doesnít taste bad, just not what I expected. Put this one in the smoked malt - IPA catagory.

Sample at the brewery. Comes dark gold with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and malt. Taste is citrus hops, sweet malt, and a bit of smoke. A bit unusual.

on tap-pours awhite head with copper color. Aroma is not right, an off batch, diesel fuel. Gotta try again.

On tap @ brewery. Clear dark gold with a small white head. Aroma of candy sugar, mango, and light citrus tones. Taste was tropical but sugary. Kinda one dimetntional while the malt is too sweet and uninspired. Boring, but drinkable.

On tap @ brewery. Yellow orange appearance with an off white head. Potent, citrusy, earthy hoppy nose. Bready, orange citrusy, grapefruity, pale malty flavor. Pretty decent brew
