COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is my interpretation of a classic California Pale Ale. The yeast allow the aromatic Yakima hops to shine through and hit your nose. A significant malty character is balanced with a small dose of bittering hops.

(draft @ Big Beaver Brewing - Loveland, CO) Hazy gold pour with a thin white head. Light citrus aroma with some light grass. Flavor is about the same. Mild citrus and light malt. Not too bad, but a little plain.

Sample at the brewery. Comes light amber with an average tan head. Aroma of citrus and malt. Taste is citrus hops, malt, and cereal. A bit bitter at the finish. OK.

Clear copperish amber with a light cream colored head. Citrusy nose with a pale malt and biscuity undertone. Same for the flavor, just some bitter citrus hops, with a nicely balanced biscuity, pale malt and cereal grain backbone. Decent, but struck me as outstandingly average and forgettable.

On tap at Big Beaver poured a clear orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, skunk bud and cat piss. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness and light skunk bud with a smooth lingering earthy finish.
