Commercial Description:
Our Kölsch is a refreshingly pale German style Ale. It is cold fermented and cold conditioned to achieve a beautiful balance between biscuit malt flavors and floral hop notes. It is light bodied and finishes somewhat dry to enhance it's easy drinking nature. Please enjoy our interpretation of this beer of Zümmer! Editor's Note: Renamed Angry Angel Kolsch by the brewer.

Pours a very light orange pale with not much carbonation. No head. Light smells of yeast. First taste is rather bland followed by a slight bitterness. Very light and mild. More flavor than I expected.

A little heavy for a Kolsch but still good. Nice nose greated with a light white head. Poured a clear yellow. taste was good, some fruit and maltiness. carbonation was good but mouthfeel was a little heavy for style. Nice for a state side Kolsch. Good for sessions!

12 oz, bottled June 08. foggy orange-amber with a half-inch lasting head and some nice soapy lace. Earthy-sweet honey and cereal aroma. Flavor is grain, lemon, cardboard and a hint of honey. Near-medium body is soft, dry and lightly carbonated.

Aroma - Grain, grass, light fruit, floral

Appearance - Crystal clear yellow gold, healthy white head that settles slowly, lace is delicate, but lasting

Flavor - Sweet fruity flavors and light malt start quickly, very gently bitterness builds into the finish.

Palate - Light body and carbonation, nice mouthfeel, smooth, lightly dry

Overall - Good flavor, refreshing, balanced, but maltier that the few German examples that I’ve had.

pint @ MacGregors. So-so aroma, sweet n& sour, had a weird green olive scent toasted grain. Clean yellowy gold color, Ok head, little to no lace. Spiced sweet flavor Minor yeastiness, cardboard, stale bread. Lite body, watery mouthfeel, bitter spiced finish. eh, hope it was this pint otherwise I didn’t enjoy it much.
