3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to Emacgee for sending me one of these, unsolicited. Light hazy golden in color. Aroma: lightly bready and yeasty, with some light pale malts. Taste: pale malts with a light honey sweetness, light yeasty with some bread- very smooth, light bodied. Big Boss did a pretty good job with this one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is a really tough style, but Big Boss did a pretty good job with it. Had this at the brewpub in Raleigh... very cool place.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, thanks to TURDFERGUSON. Pours clear gold under an enormous white head. Aroma of biscuit and hay. Body tends to light, carbonation to medium. Taste of honey, bread, fruit, spice and a dash of lemon. Crisp and lightly floral finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Label shows 4.5% ABV. Will adjust. Lightly hazed golden pour. Rapidly vanishing white head. Nose is chock full of grains, soft lemon and honey and light grassy notes. Taste is grainy, grassy, lightly floral hops, some buttery biscuit, and light lemon. Body is light-medium and rather crisp during the finish. Mild carbonation throughout. Fades quickly. The finish is made up of more strong grain, slightly burnt buttered biscuit, light lemon and grass hops. Not bad at all!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: Pours a clear, orangey body with a thin, wispy, white head.
Smell: Light, slightly sweet-smelling grainy scent with an addition of a crisp white wine.
Taste: Subtly sweet pale maltiness with a touch of grains. Light hint of fruit. Dash of white wine. Spicy hops with prominent, medium bitterness that lasts till the dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-low carbonation.
Drinkability: I could stand to see more carbonation here, but it’s fairly on track for the style, but also pleasant, tasty beer in it’s own right.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a transparent brass golden color with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of grainy pale German malts and mild noble hops. Body starts semi-sweet with some good, crisp bittering and flavor hoppiness before a smooth bittersweet finish. Doesn’t quite have the mild fruity notes of a true Kölsch, but is a pretty nice Pilsener.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a very light orange pale with not much carbonation. No head. Light smells of yeast. First taste is rather bland followed by a slight bitterness. Very light and mild. More flavor than I expected.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Finally in bottles. Pours a slightly hazy carbonated pale brownish yellow. One to two finger frothy white head. The nose is earthy, old fruit, grassy, some hay, slighty bready sweetness. The flavor is earthy and malty, lagering apparent, no hop bitterness, grassy, hay, old fruit. Pretty good kolsch.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks ucusty, bottle: I have not had too many of this style before. Pale golden pour, some bubbly white head. Aroma is so weird; like cheerios or graham crackers, or honey-dusted biscuits. Flavor is light bodied and dry and reminds me of those "green bottled" brews, with a slight skunk character to it but not a detriment to the beer.
