COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Kölsch is a refreshingly pale German style Ale. It is cold fermented and cold conditioned to achieve a beautiful balance between biscuit malt flavors and floral hop notes. It is light bodied and finishes somewhat dry to enhance it's easy drinking nature. Please enjoy our interpretation of this beer of Zümmer! Editor's Note: Renamed Angry Angel Kolsch by the brewer.

A: The beer pours a slightly cloudy golden orange color with a white head. S: Citrus and floral hops to begin with. Some bready malts and a hint of grass follows. Light lemon peel notes and a little bit of straw. Just a little bit yeasty and fairly crisp. T: Starts off somewhat sweet and malty with some nice bread flavor. Despite their prominence on the aroma, there is only a light citrus hop note. A touch of straw, mild grass, and a soft bitterness. M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation. O: Usually random kolsches are not beers I expect to be any good, but this was pretty decent.

330 mL bottle. Pours a hazy light orange with a two-fingered white head that dissipates quickly but leaves some decent lacing. Aroma of candy, butterscotch, caramel, pineapple. Watery on the palate. Taste brings some rice, barley, faint hops. Very refreshing.

12 oz. bottle courtesy ucusty. Thanks! Pours a slightly cloudy amber-orange with a weak, quickly disappearing head. Syrupy peach/pineapple aroma with grain and caramel notes. Much drier taste with some fruity notes, grass, hay and bitter hops. Medium bodied.

Pours a transparent brass golden color with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of grainy pale German malts and mild noble hops. Body starts semi-sweet with some good, crisp bittering and flavor hoppiness before a smooth bittersweet finish. Doesn’t quite have the mild fruity notes of a true Kölsch, but is a pretty nice Pilsener.

Pours golden with white head, aroma is some grassy hops, biscuit and pils malt. Taste up front is some earthy grassy hops, leading into nice non offensive hay and biscuit taste finishing clean. Not a whole lot going on with this, but a nice drinkable brew.
