keepersj12 (480), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA Jul 7, 2008 A very good rendition of this style. Nice light bread and yeast aroma. Big fluffy head. Flavor is crisp and clean. Great for a hot day.
durhambeer (700), Durham, USA Dec 8, 2008 Bottle, poured into a plastic cup at the Carolina Theatre. Deep clear golden pour with pretty minimal white head. Definitely a lot of sweet corn and bready notes on this one. Grainy and sweet are the two main notes here, with a little bit of earthy floral character. Refreshing, but probably more appropriate a bit colder, tasted in the summer, and with food. Solid local beer. I have a feeling in other circumstances, I could really enjoy this. chandler0201 (153), Durham, North Carolina, USA Dec 6, 2008 Golden pour with white head. Corn and hops aromas and hint of bread. Flavor is semi sweet, semi sour, but it also tasted really watery. NachlamSie (1444), Tennessee, USA Nov 21, 2008 [November 3, 2008]

bottle born in August 2008. Pours a cloudy gold with a whispy white head. The aroma has lots of corn with low papery hops and much dough and bread. The flavor is semi-sweet and sports some tame hops that are definitely woody. Cereal and cardboard come out. this is pretty right for the style. There is not an excess of DMS or any other problems. It’s just plain and very light. tarheels86 (267), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Nov 20, 2008 330 mL bottle. Pours a hazy light orange with a two-fingered white head that dissipates quickly but leaves some decent lacing. Aroma of candy, butterscotch, caramel, pineapple. Watery on the palate. Taste brings some rice, barley, faint hops. Very refreshing. brewski519 (84), Morrisville, North Carolina, USA Nov 20, 2008 From a 12 oz bottle this Kolsch pours a nice golden color with a creamy white head that lingers a slight lacing. Slight lemon aroma with a trace of hoppiness. A nice clean refreshing taste that makes this a very drinkable Kolsch - I could sit around a drink a few these on the back patio - not exactly a lawnmower beer - but I wouldn’t turn one down after I worked up a thirst in yard.
