3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
I was quite impressed with this beer. On tap at Tylers in Durham, NC. Pours gold and smells like corriander and citrus. Light lacing. This was a great thrist quencher that has nice warming capabilities. A sweet balance of flavors consisting of caramel, wheat and malts

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The aroma was bitter orange peel and coriander with a peppery spice note. Wheat made an appearance and brought with it a light sweetness and caramel character. In the glass the beer was lightly hazy pale golden with a low persistent white head which laced the glass. The flavor was malty with a nice caramel sweetness and orange/coriander character. The peppery spice was very well done and the wheat flavor (unmalted) was spot on. The body was medium-full and the mouthfeel was round and creamy. Only a very slight presence of alcohol was notable. Very refreshing and a great pint! Pint at Tylerís in Durham.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pint at Tylerís, Durham. Well, this is a pretty jacked up witbier. Another winner from Big Boss, who are really coming on strong in N. Carolina. A lustrous and somewhat cloudy amber body, itís got a big spiced palate up front, with hints of banana and orange peel in the nose. As you warm up to it, thereís some alcohol heat (a bit too much, which is why the flavor rating isnít better) and spice. Really nice stuff.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy yellow color with a fairly thick white head. Fruity aroma brings bananas and spicy bread to mind. All the good refreshing flavor you expect from a witbier but with a nice hearty mouthfeel. Works great as a warm weather thirst quencher but I canít help but think it might work just as well in the wintertime as a warmer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Wow...the 2nd to review huh? Tap at Milltown Carborro. Avg., white head (mostly dissapated)-good lacing present. Pours a cloudy dark-orange. Strong corriander, oranges, lightly peppery. Really sweet (even slightly sweet for the stlye). Light alcohol warming. After all is said and done...this was the best witbier I have rated.
