3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Poured hazy, mandarin-orange, with an initially fizzy head that boils up into a cumulous-cloud of poofy foam. The aroma is quite full of yeast and citrus blossoms. Despite that hint, the initial sip is a little shier than that ... easy to drink, mellow, and just lightly impacted by a subtle tropical fruit essence. For a 7% beer, this is terribly light and easy to drink, dangerous indeed. (#4407, 12/18/2011)

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
rec’d via trade with Brentk; THANKS! not sure this is really a belgian ale? pours pale orange. aroma/flavors are hard to peg; some funk in it for lack of better description - again, not a beligan ale; pilsner?

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Bruisin’ Ales. Pours blond with a thin white head. Big scent of pineapple on the nose was a bit off-putting. Not much of that Belgian yeasty thing on the tongue. A bit of pineapple on the tongue which lasts longer then I would like.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A: The beer pours a clear golden color with a thin white head.
S: A fairly light nose. There is a decent amount of banana along with some sugar and pears, maybe a bit of sweet apples. A little bit of yeast, bread, and spice.
T: Lightly spiced with some sweet bread and sugar. There are mild fruit notes, mostly some banana with a little bit of pear and apple. There is just a little bit of straw, some light spices, too.
M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
O: Not bad, but sort of bland and muddled.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours gold into the glass with almost no head. Aroma is somewhat spicy. Flavor has some citrus and spice but also has a lot of residual sugar left over. Cloying.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Golden with a whispy white head. I actually quite like the appearance. This beer smells a little different than the few times I’ve had it before. More Belgian wit-like. Before it was anyone’s guess. Nose shows some clove, phenols, spice. Flavor is lightly spiced and fruity with a yeasty, clove finish. A pretty average Belgian wit. Closer to the style than any of my previous encounters so thats a plus.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a light colored golden color. Almost no head is present, light carbonation is throughout. Aroma is very honey-like, a lot of bread is present as well. Taste is slightly tart yet spicy, the thing that I notice the most is clove. Its ok. Not great.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dirty amber with tiny head and weak lacing. The problem with this brew is that it doesn’t taste at all like a belgian ale - no caramel malt or orange fruitcake, no full body, no lightly bittered finish. Just an odd butterscotch overbalanced by bittering. One’ll do.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Citrus, spice, and herb aroma. Pours golden yellow, thin white head. Thin body, medium carbonation. Smooth but not crisp, not very refreshing. Long, slightly bitter palate. Not great, not terrible.
