3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Wiseblood (700) - Clarksville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 19, 2010Cloudy orange with a white head. Spicy citrus and yeast aromas. Good flavors of fruity esters and Belgian yeasts. A little sweetness rounds it out, but it finishes a bit dry and sour.

Good label; faint mist in a straw gold beer. Dry, yeasty aroma with some sulphur. Light, savory, a little pepper, not fruity. A little citrus in the lightly bitter end. Crisp, summery. Thanks, LuckyDog.

12 ounce single bottle from Food Lion in Huntersville, NC. Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with no head and minimal white lacing. Aroma is coriander and yeast notes. The Palate is medium-to-full bodied, round, and mouth-filling, but with nice malts. Not bad, but nothing special.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 OldGrowth (2108) - North Carolina, USA - NOV 17, 2012
Pint at Doherty’s Irish pub in Cary. Ok aroma, sweet, yeasty. Light toasted malt, little orange, banana. Clove. Clean golden orange color. Good that faded to a foam top. Spotty lace. Sweet flavor. Lighter body, smooth mouthfeel , sweet finish. It’s fine, not gonna wow, but drinks easy enough.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Murrow (69) - North Carolina, USA - OCT 5, 2012
Bottled. Pours a cloudy pale gold. Mild but sharp floral aroma, with hints of ripe apple. Lots of fruit up front: pear, red apple, grape. Flavor holds as some hop bitterness develops, finishing with tart green apple, slightly dry, little alcohol sensation. Silky mouthfeel, light to medium bodied. Very tasty, fruity little beer without an overwhelming amount of wild yeast. Quite pleased with this one.

Hazy, amber/orange appearance with a small off white head and light lacing. Aroma is yeasty, candied sugar and sweet malts. Despite the sweet, tropical fruit flavors, some spicy hops hit midway through, before reverting to the sweetness in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel with a decent alcohol kick.

I don’t particularly care for the smell on this one, as it reminds me a little of bad cheese. The taste isn’t bad; it’s a little sweet and goes down easily.

Originally reviewed: 7/11/09. Had this on tap at a Brixx Pizza near Lake Norman. Came out a murky gold with a thin white head on top. No lacing at all. Smells of bananas, spices, yeast, and bread.
The mouth is crisp and firm. Great feel. Flavor is pretty tame, but I like it. Big Belgian yeast smack that finishes slightly fruity and sour. This is pretty well done. I’m not the best expert on BPAs, but I liked this one.
