COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This style originated in Belgium to compete with the pilsners from Czechoslovakia, Germany, and Poland. It is a fruity ale with very strong carbonation, with complex, spicy flavors like cloves.

A: The beer pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. S: A fairly light nose. There is a decent amount of banana along with some sugar and pears, maybe a bit of sweet apples. A little bit of yeast, bread, and spice. T: Lightly spiced with some sweet bread and sugar. There are mild fruit notes, mostly some banana with a little bit of pear and apple. There is just a little bit of straw, some light spices, too. M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation. O: Not bad, but sort of bland and muddled.

Aroma is biscuit and honey malt with pear and pineapple esters, ginger, black pepper, earthy and spicy hops. Flavor is spices and moderate crisp malt, light hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.
