2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Hazy, murky glowing golden wheat colored body with a white head. Nose of perfumed wheat and Belgian yeast and huge notes of candy sugar. Flavor is pasty and plain up front, then dry/coarse/pasty over the middle, with an overwhelming amount of perfume wheat and coriander. Too much, very messy and confusing, like drinking potpourri.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to emacgee for this. Pours hazy deep gold with 3-fingers of white head and a lot of carbonation streams. Smells candi sugary malty, with florals and some dry citrus. Tastes spicy, floral, dry, with candi sugary malt, mid-palate citrus, hops, and spicy yeast. Very complex and a beer that I dare say would be indistinguishable from many of its Belgian counterparts in a blind tasting.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a transparent deep golden with a wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet pale Belgian malts and a good amount of bready Belgian yeast and some mild sulfuric notes, Body starts fairly full and sweet with good, authentic Belgian character and some drier earthy bittering hops. A pretty decent Belgian ale.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Whole Foods Raleigh. Pours a hazy light golden with nearly no head. Aroma of peaches, coriander and burned hair. Aroma of yeast, stone fruits and vanilla. Thick feel. A Blond? Competing with a pils? Right. Good beer? OK.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: OCT 27, 2008 Bottle. Actually not bad at all. One of the best Belgian knock-offs Iíve had. Carbonation is not too high, pours with a small, dissipating white head. Color is crystal clear orange. Body has some nice yeasty tastes. Maybe a hint of spice but not that noticeable. The low point though is the aftertaste, which is horrendous: sticky, oily, buttery, and bitter. Not bad but not great.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks to Rogueone for sharing a bottle. This brew is a bright golden amber color with a thin white head that dissipates qickly. Small rings of lacing. Aroma of yeast and ripe fruits. Light-bodied with flavors of yeast, spices and fruit. The finish is sweet fruit and cloves with a light spice and banana aftertaste. Overall this is a tasty beer, although it loses a lot of ground in the Belgian category.

12-oz. Thanks, Riverside! Cloudy green amber. Thin fizzy white head. Salty, somewhat vegetal nose. Medium body, mild carb. Tastes fishy, reminiscent of sardines.
