COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
HIGH ROLLER American-Style IPA is brewed with whole Northwest hops and balanced with pale and caramel malts. We add hops to this beer three times to build a deep, complex hop profile. This is our example of a unique American twist on a British classic.

Appearance: Pours a very clear amber gold with visibile rising bubbles in the body. A pin stripe of white goes around the top.

Aroma: A bouquet of piney, grassy and perfume hop oil off the bat. Sweet malt and fruitiness.

Taste: A sandwich of agressive resinous hops, sweet and biscuity malt and fruit cocktail in the middle, with a long sturdy bitter finish. Maybe some rye malt as well?

Mouthfeel: Full bodied, medium peppery carbonation.

Overall: Solid and beautifully bitter. Not my kind of IPA, but still satisfying as it is.

Bottle. Hazy, light orange brown pour with a nice off white head that dissipated relatively quickly. Citrus, lemon zest, pine, malt and candy. Big sweet body with a bitter finish. Nice

Bottle - Sweet and malty with some grapefruit. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bitter and a bit cardboardy. Not very interesting.

Bottle shared late night during RBWG 2015. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy white head. The nose has some ripening citrus fruits, pale bread. Medium sweet flavor with dusty pale malts, rindy citrus, slight grains. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Simple citrus and dry, pale bread on the finish. Decent.

Bottle lobby share. Mostly malty with a peppery note that distracts in a bad way.

Looks very gross with lots of floaters. But a good head. Aroma is nice hop so is the taste. Palate is spot on for abv with a light roughness from the hops. Overall a decent IPA if they could get some filtering going on.

Location: 12 oz bottle at CLT (Uptown in Terminal A), 11/25/14

Aroma: The aroma has some okay hop notes, caramel, pine, and a little fruit
Appearance: The beer pours into the glass an orange-amber color with a smallish head
Flavor: The flavor is along the same lines, dull hops and some caramel malts
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an okay but not great feel, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I like the label the best of any part of this beer. It just isn’t very good. Everytime I’m in this terminal and they have only bottles of this instead of cans of Hop, Drop, and Roll (like they have in other terminals throughout the rest of CLT) it makes me sad.
