Pint @ Horniblows tavern, Ok aroma, mild roastiness, little sour tang about it, kind of a cheese scent. Clean orangy dark brown color, Good head and lacing. Bitter roasted flavor, Medium body, oily mouthfeel, dry bitter on the finish, Good, I thought, though I see others weren’t too happy with it. Sure looked good, but I didn’t rush for another either

Meh... Dark brown pour. Thin tan head and no lace. Really thin. Chocolate, light coffee, metallic, and some roast. Yeasty finish and slightly acidic, which is a little strange for the style

WBF Raleigh sample. I didn’t think this was as off as Ethan did, but something odd was going on. Some normal porter-like notes, but I got some coconut (!?), some odd sour notes, and some breadiness. Maybe they are figuring this one out. I’m sure it will get better.

WBF sample. Pours a dark brown that allows some light. Man this thing smells and tastes infected.
