Seasonal offering. I’m not sure how much this varies from some of the other beers they’ve had in the past, though it seemed more pleasant than many. Amber color, some head production. Rich aroma, decently hopped. Not a West Coast IPA to be sure, but interesting. Nice, restrained flavors, bitter finish, in a standard cold, moderately fizzy palate. They named it after the Bass Pro Shops, with whom they have a joint venture (located right next door) but I wonder if the lawyers advised them of the hazard of naming a beer "Bass Ale"....? (at Grapevine, TX location)
