2009 MiBGWF: Deep coppery hue with good head retention and lace. The aroma has notes of rye bread, caramel, herbal hops, and some mineral water. The taste displays the rye character very nicely but other than the occasional appearance of hops and bready malts not much else was front. The mouth feel was the best part of this beer, snappy and refreshing. While the rye component is easily found that was about all you could, too one note and without depth of palate.
