Meh. Really was not a fan. Glad that I sampled it because it was pretty unique, but would pass on it in the future.

On tap: Real sweet aroma with banana and spice. Dark brown with reddish-orange hilights when held to the light. Off-white head. Sweet up front and finishes with a sour nutty hop flavor and a slight burn.

Tap: Dark brown in color not enough head for a dunkel( probably the pour). Strong ripe banana aroma. Even stronger banana finish with only a hint of spice/clove. Almost no sweet malt aroma or taste. Not a true dunkel but a decent beer nonetheless.

UPDATED: JUN 1, 2003 Sweet malty aroma. Dark brownish color. Sweet maltyflavor with some of the weizen. Very good beer. I usually don't like dunkelweizen as much as regular weizen but the guys at this Big Buck location (Grapevine, TX) figured out how to get past the usual dunkelweizen boringness and create something good.

Gorgeous reddish brown color. Thin head. Subtlely sweet malt flavor that went down smooth, not a whole lot to it, but it still kicked ass.
