(Grapevine) Clear amber body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, strong grapefruit, light caramel. Taste is the same, with a relatively mild bitterness and a very dry finish. Light-medium body.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 TChrome (1389) - Bedford, Texas, USA - JUL 29, 2004
Medium amber in color with a small head. This beer has a nice citric hoppy aroma. Flavor is mostly hops with a light malt presence. Good IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Aurelius (3444) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 1, 2003
Dunkel colored. A nice take on the standard brewpub IPA. Citrus and caramel aroma. Moderately dry, well-Cascaded. A hop sting and some acidity, but with finesse.
3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 BBB63 (5406) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - JUL 12, 2003
On tap at Grapevine, Tx location. Copper hue with a nice head and outstanding lacing, medium-bodied. Big fruity and piney aroma, note that they use Amarillo hops from Texas, that's different. Also detected sweet and roasted malt undertones. As expected hoppy initial taste, mellows out into an English style IPA. Dry and lively mouthfeel, slight bitter and metallic finish. I liked this a lot, well crafted IPA. True to traditional style except for the color. Recommended.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 hennes (934) - Fountain, Michigan, USA - JUN 16, 2003
Ragged, sudsy, fermenting grass clippings and citrus hop edges. Working towards brass and obnoxious but realizing its own wind baggineess before it gets there. Granted, I only had a sample at the Gaylord location.

Sampled draught at Big Buck, Grapevine, Texas.
Amber coloured. VBig grapefruity hop aroma. Firmly malty with very bitter finish, but still rather balanced. Listed at 6.2%, 58 IBU.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Nuffield (3348) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - FEB 15, 2003
Grapefruit flavor, reminding me of Sierra Nevada Celebration. Clinging head, unremarkable appearance otherwise. Not the most sensitive IPA, harsh bit of hopping. (on tap, Grapevine, TX location)
