Had this a while back at Big Buck. For an Oatmeal stout I was dissapointedd. I generally hold the Oatmeal stouts to a standard of Samuel Smith or Youngs. Had a malty aftertaste and more of a watery texture unlike the creamy texture of others.

Poured from tap in Grapevine, TX. The pour produced a dark deep brown body with a light tan head, which fully diminished. The roasted coffee aroma was quite strong, as were notes of chocolate and malt. Almost watery in texture, this stout was a smooth drinking mixture with a strong roasted coffee flavor and sweet smoky finish.

Draft at brewery: Deep brown with a cascading (similar to Guiness) tan head. Aroma was dominated by oatmeal which hides flavors that I know must by there (like chocolate/coffee because they are nowhere to be found) and hints of smoke. Flavor was utterly disgusting, waterd down day old coffee with faint hops coming through. Short lived coffee finish. For how watered down this beer tasted, the mouthfeel was somewhat thicker, though not velvety or coating in any way.
