Commercial Description:
This ale has a reddish-copper appearance. It is moderately hopped with a hint of barley. Try a pint after a hard day.

Amber body with a tiny white soapy head. Some lacing. Nose is fruity and sweet, and something sour. Taste is grape like with some butter. Odd as an Irish ale but for the most part a below average beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Smell is malts, hops, and caramel. Medium head with an ok red color. Taste is malts, toasty, and sort of plain . Missing something. Not that good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours with a small, white head covering an amber body with spider lacing. Good tasting, a nice rich mix of hops and malts, Aroma has sweet malts, some soap, and maybe grapes or grape juice in it. Watery mouthfeel.

Poured from tap at Grapevine, TX. This pour produced a golden brown (with slight redness) body with a sizable head that lasted longer than other beers sampled at Big Buck. The aroma was a nice balance of grain and hops. This was medium to heavy-bodied drink which was bittersweet and left a slight hoppy aftertaste. This was a visually pleasing beer and was drinkable as well.

Draught at the brewpub
Hazy amber color with a red hue. Both aroma and taste have caramel and toffee. Drinkable.
