The board in the bar area showed this at 10.2% abv but what's a bit of alcohol between friends? (This is the same abv as the Trippple Vision by the same brewery but the IBU is slightly higher here at about 22 compared to 17.) This is a moderately enjoyable beer from the perspective of someone who likes a big malty beer, but the alcohol is a bit out of control. There's a decent carbonation here, although it was served too cold (of course). A nice bit of head over a chestnut brown body. Good caramel flavor, some banana, lots of alcohol, and a nice bit of sweetness. This isn't going to challenge any of the better beers in the style, for sure. Exactly what one wants to drink with a Big Buck burger and fries, right? (on tap, Grapevine, TX location)

Dark, ruddy brown. Big banana and syrup nose. Initial alcohol assault which the sweetness doesn't cover. Sugary, Bananas Foster finish. A fair attempt.
