4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I know there's only 8 reviews before me, but I'm amazed this is so low. Subtle sweetness from the malts (though I'm not necessarily getting chocolate). Great hops and crazy smooth for over 100 IBU's. Plus the awesome owner gave me a free 4 pack at their tasting room. Great beer overall.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at the taproom. Hazy reddish-orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of piney hops, fruit and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a resiny hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz can. Pours hazy reddish tea color with a medium creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet caramel malts, fruit, a little cola, with some perfumey piney hops.
The flavor is sweet caramel malts and fruit with a big piney resiny bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation and a bit watery.
Overall, a nice DIPA, but a little on the sweet side.

Can from Hazel’s beverage world. Dark copper color, beige head. Bitter taste with grapefruit, hops, caramel, resin and a bit of mango. The body is a bit unbalanced. The palate is definitely on the sticky side. Bitter finish with hops, grapefruit and resin. Decent double IPA.

Picked up a can of this. Hazy ruby color with a off white head. Oxidation and diacetyl. Hops are dead. Alcohol isn’t apparent, but so what? A mess.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can. Pours brown with lots of red hues and off-white head. Smells very piney. Has a bitter backbone, lots of earthiness, bitter finish, cereal...a bit thin for the style. Okay.

Tasty brew from a place that is a 10 minute walk from my house. Plenty of hops and gets bonus for location.

Tap at Avery Strong Ale Fest. clear dark copper with a thin foamy white head. Aroma is primarily hoppy with notes of sweet tangerine and caramel with strong resinous leafy hops with pine and sharp acidic hop oils, but its all backed up by a candy caramel sweetness with a touch of fruitiness. The flavor is a little blander than the nose, with notes of bitter leafy hops, earthy caramel, and moderately strong pine bitterness.

Tap. Pours clear brown with thin, fizzy off-white head; decent retention and lacing. aroma is floral and grassy hops, biscuit and cereal malt, figs, dates, and herbs. Flavor is grassy hops forward (light bitterness) with supporting bready malts and light fruit esters; dry lightly hoppy finish. Medium body and lie carbonation.
