A nice head with good flavor, if I had to give an example of a "normal" stout, this could qualify. Quite nice. On tap at the Draft House in Vegas. unclemattie (1747), Georgia, USA Nov 1, 2007 20 oct 07, draft at BD Cafe & Casino, LV. Dark, opaque black color. Milk chocolate colored head. Aromas of semi-sweet chocolate, coffee, licorice. Tastes of roasted malts & coffee, light anise. Medium bodied. If I loved Stouts... This would be my Favorite of the lot. An Excellent Stout! bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA May 24, 2005 had this one at the barleys beer festival...poured a beatiful opaque brown black with a creamy tan dense head that you could lay on without creasing. nice roasted nose flavors....sweet choc milk flavors, espresso, and caramel, chocolate. slight bittering at the end. nice all around maybe slightly thiin, but enjoyable never the less. reminds me of what a milk stout should be, probably from the holy cow days...this would make sense, wouldnt it?? drink it youll like it. presario (2523), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Aug 12, 2007 Small sample glass.
