COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fire Dog Smoked Wheat is a hearty, cool weather seasonal beer brewed with wheat and Munich malts that have been house-smoked over whole mesquite logs. his special brew has a delicious toasted malt flavor with wonderful aromas of fresh, hearth-baked bread. We brewed Fire Dog Smoked Wheat to honor all of the brave firefighters and their K-9 companions here in the Las Vegas Valley and everywhere.

Aroma: light sweet smoked aroma
Flavor: sweet malt flavor, touch of candy sweetness, lots of smoke, just a hint of fruityness in the sweetness, good balance between the sweet and the smoke

Pours a dark amber with some red edges. Nice lacing head. The aroma has a bit of malt and a bit of smoke. the flavor is malty sweet with a good bit of smoke. Pretty good for the style.

This beer is pretty tasty. A light smoke in the aroma, and it really doesn’t seem too smoky in the flavor either. However, it doesn’t seem all that wheaty either. In this case, they seem to have neutralized each other. That said, the malts are pretty nice and the hint of smoke is good. I guess the best thing I can say about this beer is this: My uncle declared this to be the best microbrew he’d ever had. I lifelong farmer who’s not ready to abandon his bud just yet, this was the only microbrew he tried while visiting me that he ordered a second of. So...
