3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted on tap at the Bistro Double IPA Festival on 2/7/2009. This Imperial IPA pours a light gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is herbal and citrus. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and citrusy. Medium bitterness. It does have that wet/harvest hop herbal taste as well. Nice carbonation. Mouthfeel
Is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Copper creamy pour with white head and lace. Resiny and citrusy aroma. Rich semi sweet malt with a very nice hard first bitter. Smooth drinker with easy carbonation. A well balanced beer that was pretty special. Maybe I rated beers higher from here I go back and pint this one.

This is one bithing hoppy beer. A nice solid bitterness throughout and certainly strong in the finish. A pretty wet aroma. Another great beer by these guys, my favorites in the city.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a goldish amber color, but was hard to see in as itís fairly dimly lit. Lasting white head. Big sweet floral fruity hop nose to it. Pretty hoppy big bitter bite to it with grapefruit notes. Nicely carbonated and a medium body. A decent IPA, although I donít particularly get fresh hops from this beer.
