Tap at the Draft House. Pours dark brown to black with a thin light brown head. Not much of an aroma, subtle smoke and bitter coffee. Big smoke in the taste with some dark chocolate, molasses and tobacco. Pretty thin mouthfeel, decent carbonation.

On tap @ Big Dogs poured a translucent brownish black with a small lasting brown head. Aromas of wood smoke, roasted malt and a hint of esspresso. Palate was medium bodied. Flavors of smoke, roasted malt, bitter chocolate and a hint of coffee with a lingering smokey finish.

Pour is dark brown with a thin tan head...smell is slightly roasty with some smoke and cocoa too...taste is slightly smokey, but strangely sweet...sticky cloying finish...

A new offering, this is really quite nice. The smoke is there in the aroma, but not overpowering. The taste however is quite smoky (not at a Rauchbier level, but I think that’s too much). Thick an dnot too sweet, this is really decent and worth trying.
