COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This delicious special is reminiscent of early American West Coast lagers brewed before commercial refrigeration. A crisp, amber lager with toasty malt flavors with an aggressive hop backbone. Brewed to honor Anchor Steam Beer and Fritz Maytag, the Godfather of American Craft Brewing.

Draft at the brewpub. Yellow pour with a slight haze and small head, large bubbles. Mostly grain, light touch of fruit, lightly sweet, and a bit of grassy hops. Very mild and I found it uninteresting. Mouthfeel is pretty rough for being so light in body. I would not order this again.

This is a pretty good beer. A nice bubbly head, the malts and flavor begin real slow in this. While the body is plain, the finish is incredibly complex. First some hops, then dryness, then almost a spicy bubblyness, followed by another light hop. Pretty good; I probably need to drink a full one to analyse this more clearly, but the El Perro Diablo was too good.
