On draught. Tasted during trip to California. Reddish dark amber colour with a nice head. Sweet nutty aroma. Great taste of roasted malt, little nutty taste. But overall very tastful and well- balance.

Can’t say that I see why this one a gold medal at some tournament lately, but then again, it’s a pretty decent Irish ale. Too much malt, like most of them, but okay.

Draught at the brewpub
Dark amber color. Very light caramel aroma. The body is quite malty, round, of course with its share of caramel, very light malty fruitness. Better than expected.
