Appearance was clear reddish brown with creamy lasting tannish 3 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are raoasted caramel malts, deep fruits of date, fig, raisin and cherry. Taste are roasty, toasty ryeish sweet malts with hints of spicey hops. Palate is soft smooth creamy CO2 with meduim body, then average length smooth clean rye malty finish. A good Irish ale... good local brew for style.

Bottle from a grocery store in Vegas. Poured a brown color with a decent amount of head. Tastes almost identical to a Newcastle, but a little more full bodied. Not bad.

Can’t say that I see why this one a gold medal at some tournament lately, but then again, it’s a pretty decent Irish ale. Too much malt, like most of them, but okay.
