Pretty red color from the caramel malts. Noble hop character balances well. Toffee and caramel flavor finishes with a bitter hop taste.

Draft. Poured a clear reddish amber color with medium frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Average sweet roasted malt flavor with a medium smooth sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable brew.

Barreras (948) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Pours a deep brown color with a caramel, roasted malt aroma. Taste is bitter, hint of toffee, with a smooth finish. A good beer, more like a brown ale than an Irish ale. Overall, a complex tasting beer that was easy drinking.

Clear light maroon pour. Smell is sweet sticky malt with a dull sweetness in the flavor. Mild bitterness with almost a toasty nuttiness to it as well. This was decent.

On tap at the brewery. Clear amber body with a minimal white head. Hard to get much of aroma in this smokey room, but there is some caramel notes. Taste is toasted grain, bread, nutshells and an odd flavor (olive tapenade). Thin and dry with medium carbonation.
