Sampler at Big Dog’s Brewery. Big bitter flavor covering a slight flower base. Not too much sweetness end game. Nice.

A golden amber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, classic c-hops, pinhey and citrusy, quite nice. In mouth, a smooth oily malt with pinhey hops, lacking a bit of oomph, but very decent none the less. On tap at Big Dog Winterfest, Jan 29 2011.

Yet another fine IPA from Big Dog’s. This isn’t immediately bitter or overpowering, though the finish is hoppier than the body. Bodywise, it has a nice crispness and relative lightness to it. Good stuff.
