3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sample at Ale Alpharetta. Pours light yellow, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is floral hops, resin, and butterscotch. Very bitter, but with a nice, malty sweetness. Medium body, with a thin, astringent, chalky, and grainy mouthfeel, that somehow ends up being very pleasant. This is an over-age IIPA that’s aged surprisingly well.

Willrunforbeer hand carried this 22 oz. bottle back from Vegas, much thanks! Golden / orange color with fast dying head. Aroma is pretty fruit upfront and turns into pine.
The flavor profile is pretty good. Grapefruit, nectarine peel or citrus like pith. The bitterness is pretty substantial with lingering pine. Lengthy after the sip. The malt bill is big enough to help with balance but still displays the hops. Dry texture with normal carbonation level.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22oz bomber pours with a wonderfully hop hazed looking deep gold body that has thin copper hues and supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up sweetened ripe citrus and juicy smelling mango with thin spicy onion like hops in the background. The taste is big and full and juicy with pineapple and mango like hoppiness. To midway it picks up tangelo citrus flowing into spicy bitter onion hoppy dankness. This is working very well with a pleasing blend of juicy and bitter spicy hops supported by an adequate malty base. Solid.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Bistro DIPA festival.
Aroma is similar to sweet unfermented mamalt with medium light hop notes and a hint of alcohol.
Pours a clear, copper gold with a large, fairly thick tan head.
Flavor has a decent hop profile, but the under attenuated malt profile really detracts from the beer and is too sweet.
Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, an alright beer but it was way too sweet and the malty with a fairly average hop profile with a citrus and pine resin.
