3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (6725) - Antwerpen, - APR 18, 2006
Draught Hazy brown with olive shine; no head. Fruity, both esters and some fruit - and dark chocolate. Taste betrays real fruit, blackberries, brambles, and oranges (not added!). Sweet but in a fruity way, however, no acidity for balance. Medium bodied at best, but not empty. Pleasing but not great fruitbeer.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 BrewDad (3682) - Olympia, Washington, USA - FEB 19, 2012
Dark amber in color, clear with a thin head. Fruit aroma was light more malt. Fruit flavor was also subtle. You get a slight blackberry and strong malt and alcohol flavors. Dry finish this was a pretty decent beer.

Tap somewhere.
Dark pour, mouthfeel a bit on the fizzy side. Not a sour, but sour hints atop a reasonably well-balanced blackberry beer that while fruity, thankfully doesn’t veer into sweet syrup.

On tap at the brewery/brewpub. Pours clear deep amber with light tan head. The aroma is modest in strength and pushes up dark berries that seem to be on the tart side along with raw organic dark berriness.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Skyview (4880) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 2, 2008
On draught at the brewery taproom in Lynnwood, Washington. Pours a clear dirty copper amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates to a clean top, thin ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of Kool-aid berry that over power some of the wheat and any hop character. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with an excellent balance of multi-grain malt with wheat and blackberries. Finish is semi-sweet, a very nice crisp character with some light berry aftertaste that slowly disappears. Nicely done.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 riversideAK (4560) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - APR 15, 2008
Dark brownish red with a lasting beige head. Aroma of dark malt, light roast, chocolate, and fruity blackberry essence. Weirdly vinous, with a touch of sweet dark malt, blackberry and not a lot else. For all things considered I guess it finished pretty clean. Was over carbonated.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 after4ever (4500) - Brier, Washington, USA - JAN 15, 2007
Dark mahogany pour; essentially headless and laceless by the time I got it to the table. Little on the nose but the berry--same goes for the palate. It’s not at all overpowering, it just doesn’t have any company.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 bitbucket (2082) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - JAN 14, 2007
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber with a thin off-white head. Light body that still gives a creamy impression. Soft berry sweetness in the aroma and taste. Clean finish with a grassy hop influence. For a fruit beer this is pretty good.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 BillKismet (2753) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 5, 2006
Dark, rather flat appearance. Easy blackberry aroma. Tastewise-- a blackberry stout with natural blackberry flavor nicely smoothing out the roast. Excellent, streamlined flavor profile. Sliight sour blackberry underpinning. All natural tasting. Excellent.
