Pours orange-amber with essentially no head. Aroma is fruity malts, like an Oktoberfest. Delicious! Flavor has tasty apple and malt tones. Delicious, I really like this beer, whatever it is. Smooth, very flavorful and fruity. I could drink several of these...

Bottle. Clear copper with a thin sheen. Aroma is caramel malt and yeasty sour dough bread. Medium body and smooth. Mild, but nice flavors of toffee malts with a bit of spicy hops. Has a clean crisp finish. A big easy drinker here.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours with a finger width off-white head and a slightly murky copper body with decent retention. Aroma of maple some soy and nutts. Taste is nutty with a note of maple and a bit of salt. Lightly fizzy and waterlike. Reminds me of a Vienna...

This was a featured bottle at what was the only pub on Royal Street in the French Quarter (the rest were all galleries), I just can’t recall the name of the place. Anyway, I was surprised to find this not entered in the database. It seems odd that TNOBC is having Heiner Brau do contract brewing-- it must have something to do with post-Katrina damage I would guess. Anyway, this was a nice approachable dark lager with rich caramel malt and a slightly creamy texture. I liked it considerably better than Abita Amber, its local competitor.

Bottle. Picked this up at a beer tasting in La. Clear amber, with a short, off-white fizzy head. Impressive malt aroma, more like a Märzen, with almost no hop aroma. Medium body, and a bit sweet. Smooth a pleasant, with a finish that’s not quite a clean as I expected.

thanks goes to biglove from the other site. from the bottle had this after working in the yard and needed something to take care of the thrist. and this did it. pored a nice golden color wit a white head. aroma clean and crsip, hops, citrus, lemon. flavor yeast, citrus, lemon, and hops. the way this poured and tasted I thought I was drinking a hefe weizen.

Copper pour with small tan head. Sweet malts with nuts and molasses. Flavor is the same, with a bit of grain and some hops.

Filtered with a ruby hue. Sweet mild caramel aroma. Light bodied with a bitter profile. Nothing offensive, but nothing much at all.
