(12oz can, courtesy of Cavie) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a small white fizzy head. Aroma of grain and corn. Flavor of cereal, corn, and grass with a metallic finish.

...for how cheap it was, it was impressive. At least it had some kind of decent cereal flavor, much better than bud or busch, and way cheaper. Got some when I was up in Jacksonville, walgreens, hahahaa.

12 oz can one of a sixer from Walgreens,S.Salem. $2.99 a six Not gonna worry about pouring, colour . Aroma is almost absent..little paper,cereal..thats sometimes a good thing when doing cheap lagers. Taste is light cereal, slightly sweet, comparatively pleasant really. Light and dry mouthfeel make this one poundable. Overall not that bad at all..not too sweet, dry and drinkable..good yard work beer

12 oz. can. Yellow swill. Aroma and taste are incredibly industrial with an awful sweet, rotten aftertaste. This stuff is really foul. Worse than many of the mainstreem macro lagers.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2012 Tried this side by side with Budweiser and its a slight step up. A little more taste, a little less watery, and a much better aftertaste. Only time I will drink this though is when playing drinking games.

Originally reviewed: 2/4/11. Can poured into a pint glass. Pours a crystal-clear pale gold with a thin white head capping it off. This pops and fizzles away to nothing quickly. No lace left behind. The nose is slightly skunky, with scents of lemon cleaner and musty hay. The mouth is very bubbly and crisp, albeit thin. Not unexpected though. There actually is a small amount of flavor here, some buttered corn, grass, with a sweet finish. I’ve had worse Adjunct Lagers for sure. I didn’t hate this. In fact, I could see myself drinking this again.

Can:   Straw in color, a hint of fire, clear, moderate frothy white head, little lacing.   Moderate corny and mealy aroma.   A bit more crisp on the tongue, thankfully, and no so mealy or corny.   Just don’t try and smell this one before sipping.   Comes across as very clean, sweet straw and hay.   The corniness and mealy aspect isn’t too strong.   Not a beer I would drink again unless offered, but its less offensive than any macro and at $0.50 a can, not a bad at all.

Ran into this at Walgreens in Fairlawn, OH. had my doubts but for $379 a six had to try it. Surprised and not disappointed, how could I be at that price? Should wait until the morning to rate expecting the worst, but happy right now. Some flavor in a can. Did I mention the price?

As someone stated earlier, this really could pass for Old Style. And that’s nothing to sneeze at. The total score I received was 2.8, but that is deceptive. I’m basing this against brews which I would normally purchase in the same category such as the aforementioned Old Style, Blatz, Schlitz (at least before they restored the original formula), PBR, etc... However, I can drink this beer as readily as a Bass or Bell’s. Sometimes I really just want something like this to relax in front of a movie or grill out. Don’t hesitate to try it. It’s not as though Walgreen’s employees are whipping it up in the stores. It’s a Genesee product at the same price as regular Genesee.

My ratings are based on the style. After reading most of the ratings, I believe there are a lot of stupid reviewers. If this is the worst beer you you have ever had you need to quit drinking cause you dont know anything. Cant beat the price. Tastes like G. Heilemans Old Style. Im a fan. perfect for slamming beer bongs and for the game. Great for cooking. Put your brats in a bath of Big Flats before the grill.

I can’t believe this....but....this may be the worst beer that I have ever tasted....
